HPE, world-leaders in data storage, know a thing or two about the damage that cybercrime can cause to a business. They wanted a video that would show business owners that one of the biggest modern threats, ransomware, can be defeated with the right technology. They asked Synima to come up with a powerful metaphorical image that communicated how data loss occurs. They also liked the idea of creating a frozen version of the LTO tapes in order to portray the concept of ‘cold’, i.e. infrequently accessed, data.
